H.E Sheihk Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the state of Qatar delivers the 3rd S R Nathan Distinguished Lecture 2016 organised by the National University of Singapore’s Middle East Institute

H.E Sheihk Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the state of Qatar has delivered the 3rd S R Nathan Distinguished Lecture held in St. Regis Hotel and sponsored by the Middle East Institute of the National University of Singapore, in the presence of Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Manpower, H.E Mr. Sam Tan. The lecture was also attended by a large number of state officials and businessmen as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Singapore and also a group of academics, researchers, media and the press.

H.E started his speech with an insight of the depth of the relations between the State of Qatar and Singapore and then he touched on the stands of the State of Qatar towards a number of issues of mutual concern, including countering terrorism and the Palestinian issue and the situation in both Syria and Iraq and the region in general. H.E also explained the role of the State of Qatar and its contributions to resolve conflicts in the region peacefully.
