HE President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob met Wednesday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, who is paying an official visit to Singapore. At the beginning of the meeting, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to the President of Singapore and HH's wishes of more progress and prosperity to the Singaporean people.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, during his official visit to Singapore. During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries as well as issues of common concern. In a related context, the Implementation Monitoring Mechanism (IMM) of the Singapore-Qatar High Level Joint Committee (HLJC) held its second meeting in the city of Singapore

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met separately on Wednesday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Heng Swee Keat and HE Coordinating Senior Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean and HE Chief Executive Officer of Singapore's wealth fund (Temasek) Ho Ching, during His Excellency's official visit to Singapore.
