HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, during his official visit to Singapore. During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation relations between the two countries as well as issues of common concern. Qatar’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore, organised the Qatar-Singapore Economic Forum today at Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore. The forum came within the framework of the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s visit to Singapore. The forum will build on Qatar’s long history of friendly relations with Singapore in a bid to bolster commercial ties between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, held a State visit to the Republic of Singapore during which HH met Her Excellency President Halima Yacob, President of the Republic of Singapore. An official reception ceremony were held for HH at the Istana, HH and HE President Halima Yacob stressed the deep bilateral relations between the two friendly countries during their meeting.
